Virginie Dostie-Toupin [Acupuncturist]
Trained as an acupuncturist at the College de Rosemont, the only recognized institution
to offer the Traditional acupuncture course in Quebec, I have been practicing acupuncture since 2003.
In addition to the clinical rotations in school, I have completed a specific clinical rotation at LaSalle Hospital in obstetrics.
I have pursued post-graduated training in the form of seminars such as treatment of musculo-squeletal disorders, infertility treatment
and esthetical acupuncture(acupuncture lifting). My clinical experience is mostly in physical rehabilitation
(pain and aches of all kind and CSST/SAAQ cases) and in gynaecology-obstetrics.
I also had many success in treating migraines, digestive problems, insomnia and psychological disorders such as stress, anxiety and depression.
I am a member of the Acupuncteures Associées obstetrical on-call group at LaSalle and St-Luc Hospitals and I am now assistant-professor
for the rotation in obstetrics given at LaSalle Hospital. I was recently admitted to the
Scientific Committee of the Quebec Acupuncturist Order. I am also currently working in the clinical epidemiology
department of the McGill University Health Centre on an acupuncture research project.
I am a young and dynamic acupuncturist practicing her medicine with passion and who will lead you to share admiration for the global, natural, efficient and safe method that is acupuncture.
